Day 16 - Your favourite Olympian?
Poseidon.
My favorite character is Mr. D. Since he’s an olympian, he would have been my favorite olympian. But I don’t like repeating answers so just let me say my 2nd favorite!
I always liked Poseidon since the first book. I just love how there’s always humor in all his appearances. He’s proud, arrogant, and sometimes annoying to just the right amount, but he never fails to make me smile or laugh. I love how he’s such a good father to Percy and how he talks jokingly but Percy can never tell if he’s really joking or not.
The only olympians I actually considered were: Poseidon, Artemis, Apollo, Dionysus, Hermes, and Hestia. When I listed them all, the first one I crossed out was Demeter who doesn’t really leave an impression. Next were the annoying ones: Hera and Aphrodite (but, hey, I actually liked her in The Lost Hero). Then, I crossed out Hephaestus who, aside from his small funny parts in The Last Olympian (very small part), and The Lost Hero, didn’t exactly leave a mark on me. Then, I crossed out the olympians who I neither hated nor liked (in short, the ones who, when mentioned, do not make me think or a word to describe them): Ares, Zeus, and Athena.
