Moonlit Sea of Clouds by Joe Hisaishi from Laputa: Castle of the Sky
I was surprised that it was actually an easy choice for me. I guess it’s because this song has a special place in my heart. :))
Day 13 - Favorite pairing?
*urgh…* can’t choose…
I guess I’ll go with Seiji and Shizuku from Whisper of the Heart. I love them both a lot! (I guess it helps that I both love reading and the violin… hahaha!)
In a tie for second would be Sofie and Howl from Howl’s Moving Castle and Chihiro and Haku from Spirited Away.

He’s too cute!! :)) Before I watched Arrietty, maybe I would have said Calficer from Howl’s Moving Castle. But he’s still in a VERY CLOSE second!
Day 09 - Favorite ‘bad guy’ and why?
Yubaba in Spirited Away
I don’t know exactly why… but probably cause she’s so funny cause she’s supposed to be all ‘evil’ and yet she cares so much about her baby… who in the end actually scolded her. HAHA! xD

Day 07 - Studio Ghibli movie(s) you haven’t seen?
Quite a few…
The ones I’m planning to watch next are: Kiki’s Delivery Service, Whisper of the Heart, and The Cat Returns.

Day 06 - Least favorite character and why?
uhmm…. hard one.. I can’t really choose… When there’s so much to love, why would I go find something to dislike? But then again, ‘least favorite’ doesn’t really mean someone I hate, just someone not on top of my favorite list.
Maybe Ashitaka in Princess Mononoke (cause he never was the best lead for me and I don’t know why) or maybe Muska in Laputa: Castle in the Sky (cause he was never the evil antagonist for me, he was just the annoying character).
Day 05 - Favorite male main character and why?
Haku (Kohaku) from Spirited Away
He’s just too kind!! And he’s also one of only two male lead characters who actually made a lasting mark on me (the other being Howl).
Day 04 - Favorite female main character and why?
Sophie (Sofie) from Howl’s Moving Castle
Because I liked how she handled turning into an old woman suddenly. It’s like she turned the horror of turning into an old woman into an experience full of life and adventure. I also love her relationship with Howl. And I guess it also helps that I’ve just rewatched Howl’s Moving Castle again. Haha!
Day 03 - Least favorite Studio Ghibli movie and why?

I don’t know… I liked the movie but I never got to the point where I said “I love it!” or “This is amazing!” It just doesn’t compete with other studio ghibli movies, i guess… personal opinion, though… and that’s just among the studio ghibli movies that I have watched.

All Ghibli films I’ve watched have all been amazing. And in terms of animation and story, Castle in the Sky may be weaker compared to others, but it’s still my favorite. I think it’s mostly because I have a soft spot for mysterious places, royal blood, flying objects, casting spells, and secret names. Hahaha!
